The episode of Kundali Bhagya starts with Prithvi telling Chacha Jee that they will now be able to get the reports of Sonakshi. At home, Janki asks Sameer what will happen now. Sameer says he doesn’t know but he is sure Karan is not the father of the child. They both look at Srishti as she is always right. But she says this time she is confused. She thought Chacha Jee was hiding something but it turns out that Sonakshi was the one with secrets. Srishti says they should go downstairs to know the truth. Mahesh comes inside, Karan runs to him asking who is the father of the child. Rajat holding Karan by his neck says he is the father of the child. Karan says it is not possible as he and Sonakshi were just friends. Rajat says he saw how Karan would care for Sonakshi. Karan says it was just friendship.
Karan says he is lying and asks Mahesh. Prithvi comes from behind saying he indeed is the father of the child. Karan refuses to believe it saying they are all lying. Rajat says they have got the truth from the hospital and yet he is refusing to believe it. Karan goes to Preeta and asks if she believes all this. Karan goes to Sonakshi and begs her to reveal the truth. Kritika and Sameer also urge her to speak the truth. Sonakshi stands quiet, so Karan yells at her to reveal the truth. Sonakshi says she is telling the truth only because he is asking. She tells Karan he wanted to know who the father is, she says it is him. Everyone gets shocked.
Karan tells her to watch what she is saying as everyone is listening. Sonakshi says she kept quiet as she knew it would ruin Karan and Preeta’s married life. She says she cares for Karan and had started to think of Preeta as her sister, so she didn’t want anything from the past to come out. But everyone including her father went to the hospital to get the truth. Karan asks how is it possible as nothing happened between them.
Sonakshi says on the prom day when he was dropping her home, they were heavily drunk. He came inside her room as she was unable to walk on her own. Sonakshi says Karan doesn’t remember anything as he was drunk. She says after some time she realised she was pregnant, so came to meet him at the hotel, but he was with some other girl who claimed to be his girlfriend. She says she went away and was not able to tell him. She decided to give birth but the child died during delivery. Her father then decided to send her to London for further studies so that she can forget about her past. Sonakshi says that’s when she decided to leave her past behind. Karan is in shock, and Rakhi is crying thinking about what has happened.
