When Rishabh questions Sonakshi about what occurred, she runs behind Pihu. Pihu believes Preeta called her outside, but she didn’t, therefore Sonakshi is escorting her outside. Srishti arrives at the Luthra residence after a time, and the entire family goes out to light firecrackers together. Srishti is asked why she is ignoring him, and Sameer advises her not to do so. She then admits that she has been neglecting him to grab his attention and that she hasn’t been feeling well since the morning.
As Sameer becomes enraged by Srishti’s treatment of him, she hugs him from behind and apologizes for not caring about his feelings. She hurries outdoors when she realizes Sarla is waiting for her at home. Pihu, on the other hand, expresses her desire to play with the firecrackers, and when Preeta offers to assist her, Sonakshi intervenes and informs her that she would stay with Pihu and that she may finish her job.
Sonakshi then checks to see if her family members are aware of her presence and delivers a firecracker to Pihu. In the meantime, Preeta notices Karan is disturbed and inquires whether he is furious with her. She then informs her that life is uncertain, therefore they should enjoy it while they can. She then wraps her arms around him securely. This calms Karan, and he declares that he is no longer furious. When Sonakshi sees them together, she becomes enraged and tosses a firework at Pihu.
Pihu pleads for aid as she is harmed, and the family brings her inside the home. The doctor arrives and assures everyone that Pihu is well, but Preeta requests that he examine her one more time. Rakhi then asks Pihu why she didn’t change before playing with the firecrackers, and the latter responds that Preeta told her not to. As Preeta begins to explain herself, Sonakshi stops her and exposes her manufactured injuries to gain sympathy from the family. Rakhi then expresses gratitude to Sonakshi for rescuing Pihu.
As Dadi instructs Sherlyn to bring Pihu inside, she and Kareena chastise Preeta for failing to look after Pihu. Kareena also accuses her of failing as a mother, but Karan interrupts her and tells everyone that he and Preeta are the only ones who care for Pihu. He also interrogates Sonakshi, claiming that no one witnessed her save Pihu, but Dadi silences him and praises Sonakshi. Preeta, on the other hand, sobs as Karan tells her to forget what Dadi and Kareena have said. He also encourages her to relax since mishaps like these happen all the time, and he reminds her that she is a wonderful mother.
