Karan is told that his arrest is not a minor matter and that they must even file a charge sheet; he asks the constable to take him into the locker room, where Prithvi interjects, asking why they are not allowing him to speak with the media, but the inspector sends him to the locker room; Prithvi assures that everyone is with Karan, including his fans, and that nothing will happen to him; Prithvi requests to meet with Karan for five minutes. When the policeman asks him to unlock the locker and he explains that he was a huge fan of Karan, why did he do it, Prithvi greets him and says that he is the same person with whom he misbehaved so badly a few days before, but why is he so uptight when there is no need to apologise, Prithvi explains that he used to say that Karan isn’t a big player, but he used to disagree and now must always stand beside Karan. As he walks away, Prithvi exclaims that it’s all about time as the bad time begins, just like Karan who is in the same place he was a short while ago.
When Prithvi says that he used to tell everyone that Karan isn’t a big player but that he was wrong and that he is a big player and even a match-fixer, Karan becomes enraged and tells him to shut up. Prithvi claims that he became famous even if it was due to match-fixing and that everyone who used to be around him has abandoned him. Prithvi claims that he is his family member and cares for him, but this is not true for everyone else, as his wife Preeta did not come to meet him. They all rush when Preeta arrives and start questioning her if she believes Karan fixed the match, but Preeta replies she is sure he did not do anything wrong, and then they say this is what every wife says, and Preeta replies that they would know everything after a while, but she first wants to talk with her husband, so she heads towards the police station.
Prithvi is with Karan, inquiring about his wife’s whereabouts. Prithvi adds that Preeta Karan Luthra, the owner of the Luthra mansion, is first the owner and then his wife, which is why she did not come because she would be sitting at the house as a landlord and not bothered to attend even after learning of his detention. Prithvi claims that if there was a clause stating that if the husband is in trouble, they should leave and return after everything is sorted, she could have done so; she no longer cares about Karan and only cares about his power and property; he believes she would be walking after covering her tracks.
Kritika blames herself for saying this because she only came here for the money, and she is now even claiming that he is her business partner rather than a family member. Karina reveals that the only reason Preeta stated that is to make sure she isn’t implicated in anything because if Karan gets convicted, she will be unaffected. As if they hadn’t given her the position of a daughter in their family, Dadi responds. Rakhi mentions that Preeta was their last hope and that it has now come to an end. Rakhi is sitting when Kritika approaches her and tells her that Preeta is not a nice woman or daughter in law.
Preeta exits, saying she does not want to provide any additional statement, while the reporters continue to press her about the money, even though this does not prove Karan’s innocence. Prithvi is with Karan, saying that his wife did not come to meet him and instead left after providing the statement since she has no interest in him, and thus this chapter comes to a close. He didn’t want to show him this news, but Karan needs to know it was all over. Frustrated, Karan asks Prithvi to leave or he’ll take his rage out on him. Prithvi says Karan can call him if he needs anything, and the inspector will allow it because he called while he was sitting in the same spot and was very tense.
