Sherlin is walking down the stairs after packing her bags, and Karina inquires as to where she is going. Sherlin replies that she would not go anywhere without telling her, but Natasha is the one going since mom has returned and she is alone, Natasha replies that she still wants to stay here, and Karina explains that she is still a family member and they all care for her, but she must go. Natasha continues to explain that she wants to stay with them for Karan until his case is resolved; Karina responds that he only cares about one person, but she can come to the court if she wants; Karina hugs her when Sherlin exclaims that she is going to drop her off at the door; Sherlin throws her bag out the door and says good-bye.
Natasha is wandering late at night, thinking she doesn’t want to go back there, and it’s getting late. Natasha senses someone is following her, so she turns and runs with all her might, but she is surprised to discover who is following her; she sits in an auto and tells the driver to take her to Bandra. Shrishti gets out of the car and says that today is Karan’s last night in jail; Preeta agrees, saying that he will be released tomorrow; Sameer responds that they will have to use Sandesh’s confession; Shrishti explains that they will undoubtedly use it because Karan will only be released after that; Preeta responds that Sameer meant that they will have to make sure they reach the court before anyone else finds out about them because Prithvi knows about them.
Preeta clarifies. Sandesh says they went to the Bodhi hotel first, so why don’t they search there, who knows what clue they might find? Preeta asks him to call the hotel, and Sameer dials the manager’s number, who is about to get in the car. When Preeta says she’s Karan Luthra’s wife and wants to meet with him, he asks why, and she says she wants to check the CCTV footage. The manager explains that the hotel is closed due to repairs, so the room is closed. Preeta begs him to open it, saying it is extremely important. When he says he has to say something, the manager believes he met someone who looks like Karan at the hotel.
Preeta is with the manager who shows her the video; he mentions that he saw someone who looked exactly like Karan but when he went to meet him, he realised it was someone else; the manager shows her the video; Preeta asks if she can get the video on both a pen drive and a hard drive; she also asks the manager to make a video about what he saw in the hotel; the manager instructs Preeta who begins downloading it.
The judge takes his seat after both lawyers introduce themselves, with the lawyer stating that Karan Luthra is a cricket player, and that this game is very important in their country, but that Karan Luthra, who is a player, has not set foot on the ground in the past two years, and that he wanted to earn all of the money in a single game, which he could only do by match-fixing, which he did, and that this is simple.
The court says he can present them all, and Karan considers how, for the first time, he feels guilty even though he did nothing wrong, and that it would be better if Preeta were by his side, but he dismisses the thought, thinking he is missing his mother and not Preeta. Sherlin, sitting on the benches, wonders where Natasha went because she was looking forward to the hearing but is nowhere to be found; she promises not to get bail if she gets detained while shooting a video. Sherlin is also concerned because Prithvi is nowhere to be found in the courtroom.
