Preeta thanks the manager, who apologises for not being able to accompany her to court; Preeta replies that she has already thanked him profusely; the manager, looking behind her, mentions that this is the same person who is on the CCTV; he has no idea what he’s doing here; Preeta, returning her gaze to Prithvi, replies that she knows what he wants to do and that she should run away; Prithvi runs after her, but the manager seeks to thwart him. Prithvi threatens to attack the manager with the pot if he pushes him away.
In court, the prosecutor shows a photo of Karan being arrested with bags full of cash when Karan denies that the money belongs to him. Sameer also says that he dropped Karan off at the stadium and then gave the keys to the valet, after which something went wrong, and the judge asks him to take a seat. Mr Mehra, the lawyer, says how he expected Karan to come up with a legitimate reason rather than such a ridiculous yarn, but he forgets that occasionally when people try to hit a six without looking, they are caught out.
When the lawyer says he will prove Karan is wrong, he shows photos of Karan in the room with Sandesh, which Karan recognises. When the lawyer says he’s glad Karan recognised someone, Karan responds that taking the chocolates and flowers isn’t a criminal because this isn’t a crime. When the lawyer says he’ll prove Karan wrong, he displays the images of Karan in the room with Sandesh. When Prithvi notices that Preeta’s car is still parked and that she did not leave, he jumps out yelling at the car, claiming that she ran away from him. Preeta is hiding behind the bushes, thinking she has been trapped here and needs to get to the court; Prithvi is looking at the car and exclaims that she is going to lose and that he has won; he sits on the bonnet of her car, thinking she will not be able to get to the court because he is still here to stop it all; Preeta sneaks over to the other car and stares him down.
He sprints after her and then smacks her in the back with a stick, knocking her to the ground. He declares that she has lost to him since he has denied her access to the court, where she wishes to submit the evidence but will be unable to do so. Preeta smacks him in the leg and says that she will not give up until Karan is released. She rushes into the car and shuts the doors behind her. Prithvi tries to pull her over, but she has already locked the car and is driving away.
When Prithvi notices that she has slowed down due to the speed breakers, he chooses to warn her, but she ignores him and continues to drive as fast as she can. Prithvi believes he should have simply pushed her off the road, so he takes a detour. Preeta is relieved that Prithvi has stopped following her, so she stops the car and puts all the proofs in a container when a black car passes by; she assumes it is Prithvi but is relieved; Prithvi, on the other hand, stops the car in front of Preeta, thinking she was a nice girl but stood against her and is now his enemy; all they have to do now is work together.
Karan blurts Preeta’s name in the courtroom and tries to flee when the police return him to the witness box; the lawyer warns him not to act because he is under arrest; the judge warns Karan that he is not in his house and this is the court; if he tries to flee again, he will be charged with even more crimes; the lawyer explains that Karan has tried everything to flee but Karan refuses it all. The judge wonders how Karan can deny it since they can see everything. The judge is not convinced, stating that he has heard a lot of emotional stories in court and that if Karan has any evidence, he should present it. Karan requests that the judge trust him because he cannot do anything wrong.
Mr Malkhani stands, stating that he does not believe any of the proofs and allegations that they have presented because, according to them, Karan took the money to earn but the person who is giving the money is not present in the court but is on the run, he shows the arrest warrant filed against Sandesh, revealing that he is not a wealthy man but merely a pawn as someone else is the true mastermind behind this case, Sherlin becomes tense as she hears allegations against Prithvi.
