Rishabh tells his family that he was framed in a bogus drug case, that he was imprisoned in Dubai until now, and that it was all part of a larger scheme orchestrated by Prithvi and Sherlyn. He tells the family the whole truth and they are shocked. Rishabh beats up on Prithvi and confronts him with the truth. He yells at Prithvi and tells him to leave the house. Preeta tells Rishabh to leave her alone and that she will finish the job. She drags Prithvi out of the home and throws him out. Sherlyn is asked to leave Rishabh’s house and life. For the sake of humanity, he gives her one day. Sherlyn sobs and panics as she realises the impending disaster.
Rishabh’s union with the Luthras stresses Prithvi and Sherlyn, who perceive their doom approaching. Rishabh informs them that he will not be leaving now. The marriage, according to Prithvi’s buddy, will not take place presently. He walks away. Prithvi finds it incredible that Rishabh was freed from death row and returned home the day before. He refers to it as a miracle. Rishabh is introduced to the entire family. Karan asks him the same question, wondering where he went after leaving his family. He expresses his concern that he will not be able to see Rishabh again.
He yells at Rishabh, demanding an answer. Rishabh informs Karan that he isn’t as careless as he appears to be in abandoning Karan and his family. He admits to having a problem. He claims that he went to Dubai. He was furious with some people here, that he wanted to return to his family but was unable to do so because he was caught up in a false drug case, and that was imprisoned in Dubai. The family is startled to learn of Rishabh’s tragic background.
