Dr Shashank opens the episode by reminding himself that he knows he lied about Sandeep’s injuries, but he doesn’t have any other option. He gives him money and advises him not to try to backstab him because if he does, he will lose his child and flee. He recalls learning from Kritika that Preeta planned to contact Dr Shashank to learn about Sandeep’s injuries, as well as how Preeta assumed Sandeep was involved in an accident. He smiles when he sees Preeta leaving Dr Shashank’s house.
