In the beginning, Vinod tells Karan about his strategy. When Karan goes to provide the money to the kidnappers, he is told that the money will be sent in the tracker-equipped bag. He claims that the tracker is designed for particular instances and that he will place it in the money bag and then follow it to the kidnappers. He promises Karan that once he captures the kidnappers, he would reveal their identities. He claims that he would prove that the kidnapping was carried out only for personal gain and not for ransom. He believes it was a staged kidnapping to deceive the Luthras.
Sherlyn is at home, but Sonakshi is not. Vinod’s complete plan for apprehending the kidnappers is revealed to Sherlyn. Vinod informs Karan that his squad would track down the kidnappers before entering the den to save Preeta. Preeta confirms that she will join Karan in rescuing Pihu. Karan refuses to risk her life by bringing her along. He informs her that she will remain at home and will not travel. He doesn’t want Pihu and Preeta to be in any danger. Preeta is crying. She will stop at nothing to get Pihu back.
Shrishti returns home earlier in the episode. Sameer tells her everything she needs to know about Pihu’s kidnapping. She is taken aback. Preeta needs her, Mahesh says, and she’s blaming herself after Sherlyn accused her. He urges Shrishti to tell Preeta that Karan, Rakhi, and he have a lot of faith in her. Shrishti appreciates how well he understands Preeta. Preeta is his daughter first, he says, and he understands her completely. Preeta and Karan return home from the bank. Preeta cries as she hugs Shrishti. Preeta is told by Shrishti to calm down and not blame herself.
