In today’s episode, we can see that Preeta is told by Karan that she hasn’t changed at all. She issues a warning to him. She explains that she has come as the house owner, not as his wife. He informs her that he doesn’t believe her and that she will never be the owner of the house. She uses theatrics to try to persuade him. Karan is curious about her true motivations. Prithvi informs Sherlyn that he has raised Mahesh’s medicine dosage for him to become more mentally unstable so that Preeta believes Mahesh is insane. He wants Preeta to see and believe Mahesh’s lunacy. Sherlyn expresses her concern that he is becoming frightened. He responds that he is unconcerned about anything. He feels confident in his ability to deal with Preeta. He claims that this time he is simply modifying his strategy.
Kareena sympathises with Sherlyn earlier in the episode. She understands how helpless Sherlyn feels when she sees Preeta in front of her. She expresses that she is in the same boat. She has no idea how to act like Preeta. She claims that she despises Preeta more than Prithvi. If she has to choose between Prithvi and Preeta, she says she will choose Prithvi.
She tells Sherlyn that the family informed Karan of the truth and that now Karan will take care of Preeta and show her where she belongs. In a filmi moment, Karan and Preeta meet. Even if she gives him a rose, he says he will attack her. She informs him that she did not receive a rose for him. He has affection in his eyes for her, she notices. He requests that she look at him. They’re locked in a staredown. They had an emotional outburst. He gives her a tender hug. His rage dissipates.
