The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Gehna denying to wear the short dress. The agency owner Ambarish tells her she has to wear the dress for the soap ad. She says that if she knew she would have to wear such a dress she would have never signed the assignment. He shows her the contract and says that it is clearly written in there that they are doing a soap ad and she has to wear this. Ambarish thinks to himself that Kanak was right about Gehna that she takes money in advance and gives silly reasons to delay the shoot. He tells her to wear the dress and come out soon. Gehna thinks that God is punishing her for lying to Baa and Bapuji about the real reason why she took the modeling job. She says the outside world is so different from home.
Hema and Kanak leave the agency. Hema asks if their plan will work. Kanak says that Ambarish is egoistic and will not spare Gehna. She says the family is excited to see Gehna on TV but will have to see her in jail. Hema says that Gehna helped them so much. Kanak says that she once again tried to show superiority to her. Gehna is worried, she tries to call Kanak to take her help. But Kanak makes Sagar pick up the call and says she has gone out.
Ambarish tells his assistant that Gehna should have come by now. Gehna comes out wearing a different dress. He tells her that this dress is not for her. She says this dress looks good on her and she will work really hard in this. He drags her and tells her to change. The assistant tells him to stop. Ambarish tells her that she doesn’t know how draamebaaz she is. Anant comes and slaps him. Ambarish asks who is he and how dare he slapped him. Anant says he is Gehna’s husband and warns him to not touch his wife again. Ambarish says that he wants his 25 lakhs back in 5 days. Anant says he will give his money back and takes Gehna with him.
Kanak calls and asks Ambarish if Gehna’s shoot was done, He says no. Kanak brings cake to celebrate Gehna’s defeat. Baa asks why she has brought cake. Kanak says to celebrate Gehna’s first shoot. Gehna and Anant come home, whole family claps. They ask why they look sad. Anant says that Gehna left the job as she didn’t like it. Baa says it’s okay, Gehna can try another job. Kanak calls Gehna into the room and asks what happened, she tells them the whole story. Kanak and Hema pretend to be sad and say it’s because of them. Gehna says that it was her choice and not their fault. Kanak and Hema laugh after Gehna leaves.
