The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Anant telling Kanak that Gehna could have shown the confession video to police and sent her to jail. But that would shatter the family, so she didn’t. Kanak holds Baa’s feet asking for forgiveness. Baa tells her to apologise to Gehna as she troubled her. Kanak starts apologising to Gehna. Pankaj comes back and gives jewellery to Kanak. He says that she doesn’t need forgiveness, but needs wealth and tells her to get out of the house. Anant tells Pankaj to calm down and not send Kanak out of the house. Pankaj says that he blindly trusted and loved Kanak but she backstabbed him by trying to break his family. He apologises to Baa and Bapuji for letting them down. Chetan says that Hema should be thrown out as well for supporting Kanak. Hema starts asking for forgiveness saying she didn’t do anything. She says that she was just a scapegoat and all the plans were made by Kanak, she swears on her kids.
Kanak tells that Hema is right, she thinks that even when Hema is lying she will forgive her as she swore on her children. Pankaj says if anyone tries to stop him he will leave the house instead and kicks Kanak out of the house. Kanak stands outside begging to let her in. Anant and Gehna feel bad for her. At night Gehna arranges dinner, she says everyone is sad but they have to take care of the family. She says she exposed Kanak so that she could learn from the mistake and not repeat them; she says she never thought Pankaj will throw her out. Anant says he didn’t think so either. Gehna goes to Pankaj, he apologises to her on Kanak’s behalf.
Gehna says she knows he is in lots of pain. Pankaj says he is not Devdas to cry over someone who hurt his family. He tells her that he is hungry and joins for dinner with other members of the family. Bapuji cries; Anant and others try to console him. Baa cries saying that her family is broken. Anant says that the family is not broken, just separated. They will be together soon. Gehna cries and rushes to her room, Anant follows her. Gehna says that Pankaj is in deep pain but doesn’t show.
She takes food for Kanak and tells her to eat it. Gehna goes inside and gathers the family, she pleads with them to forgive Kanak and take her in. She says that they should solve the differences in the family among themselves. Baa and Bapuji agree. They request Pankaj to forgive Kanak. Pankaj walks away telling them to do what they want. Gehna goes to look for Kanak but only sees the food plate and jewellery there. She comes and tells the family that Kanak has left.
