The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Anant looking for Kanak thinking she was just here. Goons surround Kanak and start misbehaving with her. Anant finds Kanak on time and beats up the goons. They later overpower him. Pankaj sees Anant struggling and comes to help. Till then a man who introduces himself as a writer comes and helps Anant. He trashes the goon, they run away. Pankaj comes there and asks Anant if he is fine. Anant looks for the man who saved him, but he is already gone. Jigna gets emotional after seeing Kanak. She hugs Kanak, who is standing without any reaction. Jigna asks why is Kanak not responding. Anant and Pankaj say they should take her home so she can rest. Jigna says she hasn’t eaten anything for days. Pankaj and Anant go to get food for her.
Baa prepares Aarti to welcome Kanak. Hema is happy and calls Jigna to ask when Kanak is coming. She tells her that she is eager to speak to Kanak. Jigna gives the phone to Kanak and tells her it’s Hema. Hema talks to her but Kanak doesn’t react. Jigna tells Hema that Kanak has become like a senseless stone. She says Gehna is responsible for Kanak’s condition and she won’t spare her. She will make Gehna taste blood and tears. Hema says that she will help her with that. The writer hears their conversation and goes to talk to them, but someone calls him. He comes back till then Jigna is gone. Pankaj and Anant come back but Jigna has left with Kanak.
Gehna and their family wait at the door to welcome Kanak. Pankaj and Anant return and tell them that Kanak went with Jigna. Gehna tells that it is good as a daughter needs her mother during such times. She says they should let Kanak stay with her mother for few days. Pankaj says that Gehna is right. Paresh says they should celebrate Kanak’s return with Gehna’s homemade kheer. Baa tells Anant and Pankaj to freshen up. Gehna prays to God so that Kanak comes back soon as the garland is incomplete without a bead. Hema hearing that thinks of reuniting with Kanak and taking revenge on Gehna.
Anant sees a thank you note from Gehna for bringing Kanak back in 24 hours. She tells him that their family is together again. Anant gives her chocolate and says he will do her admission to law college. Gehna gets happy and licks the chocolate from her hand. Anant says he didn’t know she liked chocolate so much. Gehna says she likes so many things like coffee as well. Anant tells her let us have tea together, she goes to make it. Tia brings a bouquet that had come for Gehna. Anant finds a note that says he is coming to refresh their old memories.
