The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Sagar applying sindoor in Tia’s hairline. Tia screams and all the ladies turn towards her. Sagar says everyone had sindhoor in their hairline, so he applied for Tia as well. Gehna says only a husband can apply sindoor in a woman’s hairline. Sagar asks if he is Tia’s husband now. Hema blames Gehna for teaching Sagar all this. Kanak tells her to stop blaming Gehna as Sagar did it unintentionally. Hema goes to wipe Tia’s sindhoor, Gehna says they can’t wipe off sindoor like this. They need to find a solution with a calm mind. Gehna tells Pandit to find a way, he says it is Devi maa submitted sindoor.
At home, Krishna reminds Anant of his promise to talk to Tia. Anant says he needs to find Tia’s opinion on this. Jigna comes and tries to tell them what happened but they can’t understand. Gehna and other ladies enter the house. Anant asks why Tia has sindoor in her hairline. Gehna says Sagar unintentionally filled sindoor in Tia’s hairline. Anant slaps Sagar, Chetan also starts hitting him. Hema tries to protect Sagar saying someone provoked him to do it. Hiral blames Gehna for bringing Sagar home and destroying Tia’s life. Anant argues that Gehna can’t control Sagar all the time.
Gehna stops them and says that everyone is arguing and blaming her but no one is thinking about Tia. Tia cries and runs into her room, Gehna follows her. Tia tells Gehna she doesn’t believe in fairy tales but she deserves what happened today. Gehna explains that marriage doesn’t happen by just applying sindhoor. Two people have to accept it and Sagar doesn’t know what he did. She tells Tia that she will support her decision. Anant says Sagar can’t stay here. Pankaj and Chetan say that he should be sent to rehab. Anant tries to call the rehab centre. Gehna stops him and says they have to think with a calm mind. Anant says there is nothing to think about.
During dinner, Hema says that Sagar has locked himself and won’t eat food without Tia. Tia says she will take food for Sagar. Anant stops her. She says his health will deteriorate. Gehna says she will accompany Tia, Bapuji lets them go. He tells Anant that this is a sensitive topic and they need to get Tia out of shock. Anant says he will take care of Tia and tell them to control Sagar. Kanak tells Baa to have food. Baa lifts her spoon, Jigna taunts that if this would have happened to her daughter she would have not touched food. Baa along with others leaves the table. Kanak smirks at her mother.
