The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Dashrath asking Lakhani how he found Sagar. Krishna gets nervous. He replies saying he selected Sagar among thousand other boys for his niece. Lakhani gives one lakh rupees as a shagun. Sagar says he doesn’t want to marry. Dashrath takes him aside and tells him that he will get 5-10 lakhs from the Desai family after marriage but if he marries in the Lakhani family he will get in crores. Dashrath says they will accept the shagun after having sweets.
Dashrath tells the Desai family that Sagar is not capable to marry Tia. Bapuji asks what he means. Dashrath says Tia must have her own life and Sagar is still a kid so the marriage can’t happen. Kanak gets worried and says Tia will be called names if the marriage does not happen. Dashrath says Sagar applied the sindoor unintentionally. Bhavani says Sagar doesn’t want to get married and calls Sagar to say it.
Sagar reveals that Dashrath and Bhavani are forcing him to say that he does not want to marry. Pandit Ji comes and says he made a mistake and the wedding date is in two days. Gehna tells Anant and Krishna that Sagar must have threatened the Pandit. Anant says he will go to Jamnagar to find more about Sagar’s past. He tells the family he is going for an interview. Dashrath hits Sagar for insulting him.
Sagar says he has taken money from the client as he has promised to hand over Tia after marriage. He tells Dashrath he will marry whoever he wants later. The next morning Krishna’s main heroine in the play leaves, So Gehna tells Tia to act in her place. Anant reaches Jamnagar and asks a pan seller about Sagar’s family. The pan seller says they are goons, no one will talk about them. One of their hideous act was related to Suman. Suman enters the Desai family and tells Sagar he can’t marry anyone as she is carrying his baby. Sagar drags her and turns her hand. Gehna hears the noise of women screaming.
