The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with the inspector asking Anant if he really did that accident. Anant says yes and signs on the book. Gehna comes there and says Anant is lying. Gehna says she hit Hema and Anant did not do anything. Anant says Gehna is lying. Paresh asks Anant if there is any way to free Anant. The inspector says they have to give strong proof in court to save Anant. Gehna asks the inspector if she can stay there. Anant says this is jail, not Dharamshala. He asks Gehna to go home.
The inspector puts Anant in jail. Gehna goes to Anant. He asks Gehna to improve her mistake and be with Hema and their family. Anant says he cannot believe that Gehna hit Hema and instead of saving someone she ran away. Anant says Gehna broke his trust by lying to him about it all these days.
Gehna, Pankaj and Paresh come home. Baa asks them to stop outside the door and asks where is Anant. Paresh says they couldn’t get Anant. Gehna goes to Baa and apologizes for her mistake. Baa slaps Gehna. Gehna cries and says that she was learning car driving to surprise Anant on their anniversary, but did not have any idea that she will commit such a big mistake. Baa says she wanted to surprise Anant, so she could have informed any other person from their family. Gehna goes to Kanak. Kanak stops Gehna and says she cannot believe Gehna took Sagar’s revenge from Hema.
Gehna goes to every family member and asks them to believe in her, but everyone blames Gehna for sending Anant to jail. Anant recollects spending a good time with Gehna. He also recollects Gehna lying to him about the car driving. The constable gets food for him. Anant says he is not hungry. The constable says tomorrow the court is closed so he will get bailed out late and asks him to eat food. Anant silently eats food.
