The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Paresh asking Gehna if there is something special on the day, as she is dressed so well. Gehna thinks nobody remembers about her anniversary. Gehna gets upset and leaves. Anant stops Gehna and sings a song for her. Anant then surprises her with loads of balloons and a happy anniversary board. Gehna gets happy and asks if he remembered their anniversary. Anant says it’s their special day and he can never forget it. Anant says he has some surprises for Gehna. Anant, Chetan and Pankaj get the pani puri and ice cream stall into their house. Gehna gets delighted. Anant asks Pankaj to get the cake.
Kanak thinks they don’t have more money and Pankaj is getting a free cake from their bakery. Kanak cross legs Pankaj and the cake falls. Kanak asks Pankaj what he did. Gehna says it’s okay, she just needs everyone’s blessing. Everyone then wishes Gehna and Anant.
Anant gives a gift to Gehna. Gehna sees the mangalsutra. Anant says a year ago he gave Gehna the mangalsutra as he had to complete his responsibility towards his father but now he is giving Gehna the mangalsutra as her husband.
Later, Gehna makes the cake. Anant and Gehna cut the cake and feed each other. Anant makes Gehna wear the new mangalsutra. Gehna says she is getting a weird feeling as something bad is going to happen. Baa calls out everyone.
Baa says that she and Kanak were walking back home, that time some goons robbed them and kidnapped Kanak. The goons call the Desai house and ask them to complain to the police or they will kill Kanak. They disconnect the call. Kanak smiles and thinks everything is happening according to her plan.
Gehna says she doesn’t trust Kanak at all. Anant says they cannot go to the police, so they should try to search for Kanak on their own.
