The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Kanak seeing her sari pallu on fire and calling for help. Desais run and try to set off the fire. Anant asks Gehna to be careful or she will burn her hand. Gehna says Kanak’s life is more important. Radhika comes there and clicks pictures of Desais and smiles. Gehna tears Kanak’s pallu and throws it away. Pankaj and Chetan set off the fire. Anant checks Gehna’s wounds. Pankaj covers Kanak with a blanket. Kanak tells Radhika that the family tried to burn her alive. Gehna says they did not do anything such. Radhika asks if not Desais then Kanak must have tried to commit suicide. Kanak thinks Desais will never do such a heinous act. Kanak thinks it must be Radhika and thinks of staying alert as Radhika can try to harm her.
Anant applies medicine on Gehna’s wounds. Gehna thinks that Kanak’s life was in danger. Baa says Radhika and Kanak both are evil and they have to be careful. Anant says he will set spy cameras all over the house so that they can record everything and will also have proof of everything.
Anant touches Baa and Bapuji’s feet and says he is going out. Radhika walks to him and says thank you as he is taking her on a date. Radhika holds Anant’s hand. Anant frees his hand and says he is not going with Radhika anywhere. Gehna says Anant is not going anywhere. Radhika beats Kanak with a rod and says that she will call the police and inform them that Baa is torturing Kanak. Radhika says with her complaint, Baa will be arrested. Gehna asks Radhika to call the police and says she is not afraid of the police, if needed they all will get arrested together.
Later, Gehna is cooking. Radhika comes there and says Gehna made a mistake sending Anant alone to the market. Radhika shows Gehna a video where a lady is accusing Anant, that he was misbehaving with her. Gehna worries and leaves. Radhika shows that video to Desais and they worry.
Meanwhile, in the market, other ladies ask the lady to blacken Anant’s face so that he will never forget the punishment. Radhika thinks with her act, Desai’s dignity will be ruined. Gehna stops the lady and asks if anyone saw Anant misbehaving with the lady. The lady says why she will lie and try to ruin her own name. The lady goes close to Anant. The other men say they will beat Anant and pick some rod. Gehna stands in front of Anant. A man tries to beat them. Anant holds the rod.
