The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Kanak feeling good seeing Anant being punished by the mob. She says her heart pain is healed but what about her leg pain. Pankaj tells her to apply balm. Kanak says he cares about her so much, he should be on her side. He says he wants to be with his family and regrets that he married Kanak. On the other hand, Anant says no one should touch Gehna. The girl says he touched her inappropriately on the shoulder but no one can touch his wife. Gehna catches her lie and says she earlier mentioned that Anant touched her back and pinched her. Gehna says they should call the police and check the CCTV to see who’s lying. The mob agrees, the girl gets scared and runs away.
Gehna tells the mob that the girl was lying, hence she ran away. Gehna and Anant along with Bapuji and Paresh return home. Baa tells Radhika that she will be punished by God for bringing problems to their family. Radhika tells her to keep her mouth shut. Gehna warns Radhika that she will not let her plan succeed. Radhika says she will now punish the family inside the house. She asks what will happen if something falls on their head. Gehna notices the chandelier rope breaking and the chandelier falling on Kanak and alerts her. Gehna rushes and holds the rope saving Kanak. Her hand bleeds and she feels dizzy. Anant secures the rope and holds Gehna. Radhika writes Desai family tried to kill their bahu, Anant throws away her pen.
Gehna calms Anant and makes him sit. They try to find a way to expose Radhika but can’t think of anything. Anant nurses Gehna’s wound. Kanak confronts Radhika for putting her life in danger. Kanak says she always supported Radhika. Radhika tells her to shut up or else she will expose her of faking allegations against her in-laws. Kanak walks away angry. Radhika enters the bathroom and gets an electric shock after touching the water tap. She shouts and accuses Anant of trying to kill her. Gehna says they won’t stoop so low like her.
Radhika enters the kitchen and asks Gehna if she has mixed poison in food to kill Kanak. She makes Gehna taste the food and water before putting the food on Kanak’s plate. When Gehna turns, Radhika adds something to the food. Gehna notices it. Radhika says she is just adding salt to the food.
