The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Anant bringing Gehna home. Sapan removes the thorn from Gehna’s feet, she writhes in pain. Anant holds her hand to calm her down. Gehna remembers how Anant protected her when she was going to fall from the tree. Anant asks Gehna why she risked her life for the certificates. Gehna says that the job is his dream, so how could she let it be destroyed. Radhika returns home, Anant says no one’s dream will be destroyed this time. He sends Gehna to her room and drags Radhika with him in a room. Anant asks Radhika why she is troubling his family and why she tried to kill Gehna. Radhika says it’s not her fault that Gehna became a stuntwoman to save the certificates. She says that he left her for Gehna, now she will punish Gehna and his family.
Gehna tells Anant to give the interview. He says that the interview time has passed. She tells him to call them and ask for another chance. Anant after making a call tells the family that they are still calling him for the interview but he doesn’t want to leave Gehna in such a state. Gehna says she will be fine, Baa says he should give the interview as they are here to look after Gehna. Radhika tells him to go as bad things will happen whether he leaves or stays. Anant goes to give the interview thinking about what Radhika must be up to.
Kanak gets a text from Radhika to meet her. She distracts Hema by tempting her with food and goes to meet Radhika. She reaches Radhika’s room and offers friendship to destroy Desai’s. As soon as Kanak shakes her hand with Radhika she gets pricked by a needle that has hypnotic medicine. Radhika thinks she has to finish the work before Anant comes. The interviewer asks Anant why he is late, Anant gives a genuine reason. Anant gives his certificates, they see that he is highly qualified. They ask Anant why he wants such a risky job, Anant remembers Gehna’s words and says they always wanted to serve the nation. The interviewer asks who is the other person.
At home, Hema informs Gehna that Kanak is missing. Radhika calls the NGO lady telling her about Kanak’s disappearance. Gehna requests Radhika to tell them where Kanak is. Radhika reminds her of her promise to Anant to protect Kanak until he returns. Gehna goes looking for Kanak. She hears voices coming from Radhika’s washroom but thinks it is her imagination, so leaves without checking. On the other hand, the interviewer asks Anant if he has someone else with him on his secret mission. Anant says after he got married, his wife supported him to pursue his passion and give his 100% which is why he is here today. He promises to keep his mission a secret and not reveal it to anyone.
