The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with the Desai family returning home after seeing the dead body. Anant tells Pankaj that it was not Kanak. Pankaj feels relaxed, Anant says they will soon look for Kanak. Kanak’s mother Jigna tells them to stop their drama. She says they talk a lot about family values, but who sends their daughter-in-law out of the house at midnight. Baa says she considered Kanak as her own daughter. Jigna says she wouldn’t have tortured Kanak if she considered her as her daughter. Gehna says that her concerns for Kanak are valid as she is her mother, but now she needs to calm down. Jigna says she will send the whole family to jail if Kanak is not found. Hema feels bad for not being able to help Kanak and thinks of punishing Gehna.
Jigna calls her husband and tells him that Kanak is not yet found. She asks him who must be responsible for this. Hema tells it’s Gehna. Kanak is sitting under a tree thinking about how Panjak kicked her out of the house. Someone offers her food, thinking she is a beggar. Jigna slaps Gehna after hearing Hema blaming Gehna. Gehna tries to explain, Jigna tells her that she will show her what pain is and starts pulling her hair. Gehna cries in pain.
The whole family comes near her. Anant stops Jigna saying that Gehna is not responsible for this. She instead helped Kanak and hid all her mistakes. Anant takes Gehna to the room. Baa warns Jigna to not trouble Gehna or else she won’t spare her. Anant tells Gehna to rest as she might have a headache. Gehna says she wants to look for Kanak. Anant says she is always worried for others and ignores her own health. He promises to find Gehna in 24 hours. The next morning Gehna wakes up from a bad dream about Kanak. She prays to God to bring Kanak home safely.
Anant and Pankaj take Jigna to the hospital as she feels unwell. Kanak is walking on the streets. Gehna calls Anant, he tells her that Pankaj has taken Jigna for a checkup. She tells Anant that he will find Kanak soon. Anant sees Kanak and tells Gehna. Gehna gets happy and informs Baa that Anant found Kanak.
