The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Desai family coming to the pandal. Anant sees Gehna’s sari burning and calls out to her. Gehna turns and panics seeing fire on her sari.
Anant picks Gehna’s shawl and goes to Gehna. Anant sets off the fire and makes Gehna wear the shawl. Anant scolds Gehna to get into the fire with informing them.
Gehna sees a pole with fire falling on Anant, and she saves him. Anant gets Gehna out of the fire. Baa asks Anant and Gehna if they are okay.
Kanak and Hema try to provoke Baa against Gehna.
Gehna says that the light went off and then a man came to her and asked her to check the switch. Gehna says she went to check the switch, then she saw the fire.
Anant asks where the decorators are. Gehna says they went to have lunch and never came back.
Anant goes to check on the decorators. He finds them drunk. Anant gets the decorator to his family and says that it’s not Gehna’s mistake. It’s the decorator’s mistake.
The decorator confesses that someone forced them to drink alcohol. Anant says someone is trying to blame Gehna for everything.
All the ladies come there and say they did a mistake giving the responsibility to Desai family and to their daughter-in-law, but now they won’t be able to perform the pooja for the first time in 25 years.
Gehna says she took responsibility and she will complete her responsibility.
Later at home, Kanak thinks that she made a plan, executed it very well, and no one noticed about it. Anant comes there and says that soon he will find the culprit. Anant says that he found Gehna’s phone which someone threw in the fire and surprisingly the recording of the phone was on and now he can find out what actually happened in the pandal.
