The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Anant saying his family love is important to him more than anything.
Anant helps Gehna to make a cake. Anant makes the cake batter and asks Gehna to put the batter in the oven. Gehna says she is scared. Anant tells Gehna that he is with her.
Anant and Gehna make a cake for their house’s 30th anniversary.
The next day, Gehna performs arti. Hearing Gehna’s arti everyone comes down. Gehna greets Baa and Bapuji and takes their blessing. Everyone greets Baa and Bapuji.
Hansa enters and greets everyone. Hansa says she was insulted in this house, but it’s her sister’s house, so she has come to greet Baa and Bapuji.
Gehna goes to Hansa and gives her prasad. Hansa asks Gehna if she mixed bhang in the prasad. Hansa says she doesn’t want to eat bhang prasad and ruin her family’s reputation, and dance like Gehna did.
Anant tries to speak up for Gehna, but Gehna stops him. Anant gets angry and goes into his room. Gehna goes to Anant and tries to explain him.
Anant says Hansa was insulting her and Gehna was quiet. Anant says if someone insults his wife, then indirectly they are insulting Anant.
Anant asks Gehna to stand in front of the mirror and asks her to see herself. Anant says Gehna cannot be the girl she was before, now she is the daughter-in-law of Desai house, so she has to take a stand for herself.
Later, guests come and greet Baa and Bapuji. Gehna comes with cold drinks to serve the guests. Gehna sees everyone and thinks about what happened in the pandal. Anant asks Gehna if she knows what she has to do. Gehna says she has to stay confident and if she gets scared, she will look at Anant, as Anant’s eyes give her the confidence.
Hema goes to Gehna and flips the floor mat. Gehna slips and falls. Kanak says all the guests have come and Gehna created all mess. Kanak asks Gehna to clean all the mess.
Gehna starts cleaning the floor. Hansa says this is where Gehna belongs. Kanak says a maid is better when she does all her work and not try to become the daughter-in-law.
Gehna goes to Kanak and says all house members have to do household work and no one should feel ashamed to their housework.
Gehna cleans the floor and is about to go when the cleaning cloth falls. Gehna asks Kanak to pick the cloth, as Gehna’s hands are busy.
