The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Kanak asking Anant how he can trust illiterate Gehna with his confidential file.
Pankaj and Chetan arrive and ask what is happening. Anant says he lost the confidential file which his company trusted and gave him.
Baa asks Gehna to remember where she kept the file.
Anant’s boss comes and asks Anant to return the confidential file. Anant says he lost the file and is trying to find it. Boss fires Anant from his job and says Anant must have sold the file and is lying that he lost the file.
Baa tells the boss that Anant can never do such. The boss says every mother says the same thing. The boss asks Anant to find the file and return it by evening.
The boss says Anant will be on house arrest till evening and if he doesn’t find the file then he will get arrested.
Anant goes into his room and searches for his file. Gehna comes and says she thinks someone stole the file. Anant yells at Gehna that he asked Gehna to keep the file safe, and she could not complete her responsibility. Anant asks Gehna to go away from his sight.
Meanwhile, Kanak tells Hema that their plan worked and they succeeded to take revenge from the full Desai family. Sagar says he has hidden the file in such a place, that no one can find it, and even they won’t get caught.
Meanwhile, Gehna recollects that during the party, Sagar was missing and Sagar must have stolen the file. Gehna goes into Sagar’s room and starts searching. Sagar comes and calls everyone. Sagar says Gehna is trying to blame him.
Later, the police come to Desai house and ask for Anant. Anant comes and says he couldn’t find the file. The police say they have the search warrant. The constables search the house but cannot find the file.
The inspector says Anant sold the confidential file to someone, and therefore for betraying the company, Anant will be arrested.
