The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Gehna thinking about what she should do on stage. she goes towards the stage, and she sees Hema running away while crying. Radhika walks the ramp in a businesswomen’s outfit.
After the judge asked her about her goals in life, she tells them that she aspires to become a businesswoman. Everyone claps after she ‘tells them about her goals. The host informs that their 9th contestant, Mrs Gehna is missing, after they find her, the host says that she was stuck in the room and so she was late. The Judges talk among themselves if Gehna should get a second chance or be disqualified. One of the Judge says she should come on stage in 5 minutes.
Hema is seen walking on the road carelessly thinking about how her children and husband were insulted because of her. A speeding car heads towards her, but Gehna rescues her. Hema tells Gehna how she was wrong to think that she was beautiful when she is obese. Hema thinks that her children and husband feel insulted because she is overweight.
At the moment, when the judges are about to disqualify Gehna, she enters holding Hema’s hand, everyone starts clapping while Kanak gets furious. The judges tell Hema that she should not be on the stage after being disqualified and tell Gehna that she is disqualified for being late. To that Gehna responds by saying that she is not interested in participating in a competition that judges women based on their outer appearance rather than her talents and virtues. She says that people are hypocrites for worshipping the goddesses Kanhaji and Kalimaa, who are dusky but looking down on women who have darker skin complexion.
She continues to say how children are embarrassed by their mothers for not being literate and insult her despite her love and sacrifice. She admires Hema for being confident and courageous to step on the stage when others laughed at her for being overweight. The episode ends with the children and Chetan apologising to Hema and calling her beauty queen. The judge also apologises to Hema and gives her another chance.
