The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 starts Gehna visiting Vinit and giving the photo frame. Vinit is happy to see it and tells her that it is more beautiful than before. He thanks her and keeps looking at the pictures. Sagar honks repeatedly from the car. Gehna sees the car, Vinit tells her that he will drop her home on the way to work and goes to get ready. Sagar tries to run Gehna over with his car, but she escapes. He walks towards her and says he will not spare her today. He holds and makes her sniff chloroform, she tries to resist. Vinit hits him and yells at him for misbehaving with a woman. He pushes him and continues to misbehave with Gehna. Vinit beats Sagar again. Sagar injures Vinit’s hand with a knife and starts dragging Gehna towards the car. Vinit’s employees run to rescue, they beat up Sagar. Gehna asks Vinit if he is okay.
Anant is looking for Gehna in the house. Hema tells him that she went to Rakhika’s house. He gets a call from Gehna. Gehna takes Sagar to the hospital. The nurse dresses Vinit’s wound. Radhika rushes to see Vinit. Gehna tells her that Vinit saved her from Sagar and says that her husband is a good man. Anant and family reach there and hear it. Hema asks if her brother is fine. The doctor comes out and says that Sagar’s condition is critical. Hema is worried, Gehna tries to console her. Radhika tells Vinit that they should leave. She privately tells Anant that he should come early tomorrow to work as Vinit will be out of town. He says okay. Kanak tells Gehna to stop her showing fake concern. Gehna says that she wants Sagar to be punished for his deeds, but not like this.
The next morning Gehna asks Anant why he is going early to work today. He says he has lots of work to do. He tells her she must be concerned because he is going to Radhika, but he assures her he only goes there to work. Anant tells her to finish household chores and then study. She tells him that she will be visiting the hospital with Hema, he says okay.
Radhika meets Anant in the office wearing a formal dress. She says that she is ready and will lead the project without Vinit’s presence. He says yes. She thinks that she has dressed the way he used to like, and now he will like her. She asks him why he is tensed, he tells her that he is worried for Gehna as she wants to visit Sagar with Hema even after what he did to her. She says that Gehna is an all-rounder and she can take care of everything. Radhika tells Anant that she forgot her tiffin so let’s have lunch together. He says that Gehna has packed tiffin for him and she will feel bad if he doesn’t eat. Radhika gets angry, she then asks him if he got the project details file. He says he has it on his phone, she comes closer and looks at him, he notices so he moves back. She acts as if she is about to trip, he holds her.
