The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 starts with Gehna visiting Sagar in the hospital. Hema asks the doctor why they have tied her brother. The doctor says that Sagar has lost his memory and is dangerous to himself and others. Sagar wakes up and starts acting aggressively. The doctor tries to feed him medicine but he spits it. Hema tells the doctor to untie him and she will talk to him. Sagar pulls Hema’s hair. The family try to free Hema from Sagar, Kanak and Gehna scold him and tell him to behave. Sagar says sorry Aunty. Hema asks the doctor why her brother is acting like a child. The doctor says that his mental state has become like a child and they can’t keep him here anymore. Hema pleads to the family to take Sagar to their house so she can take care of him.
Gehna wonders if Sagar has really lost his memory or if he is pretending to escape from the police. She tells him that she has taken her complaint back, gives him a letter stating the same and tells him to go away from their life. Later Hema comes and tells Gehna that Sagar is missing. Gehna thinks that her suspicion was right and Sagar has escaped. Sagar comes from behind and throws the paper at Gehna he calls Gehna mama says he made a paper kite. Gehna thinks that Sagar has really lost his memory. Sagar calls Gehna mama and asks if she will take him home. Hema says what will happen to him. Gehna says we will take him home and take care of him. Kanak thinks that Gehna is bringing a storm into the house.
Gehna comes home, Baa says how can she take such a big decision. Kanak tells her that it is not easy to handle violent patients. Gehna says that she will take care of Sagar. Hiral says that she is the bahu of the house and not the owner. Hema says if Anant can bring Radhika in the house and do as he wants then why can’t Gehna. Sapan says such patients need medical treatment in the rehab centre and not at home. Anant calls Gehna and tells her he wants to talk with her.
Radhika is angry at Vinit and tells her why he risked his life for Gehna. Vinit says he did what was right. Radhika tells him that Gehna has taken Sagar home, Vinit says that she has a big heart. Anant tells Gehna that he can’t allow Sagar to stay. Gehna says that he is Hema’s brother and she has promised her. Anant says that he doesn’t trust Sagar. She tells him that Sagar now has a child’s mind and with this innocence, he can change. Anant says that she has to study and can’t ruin her future, Gehna says she won’t until he supports her. Radhika calls Anant and tells him to arrive early in the office tomorrow. She thinks that Gehna ruined her plan today but tomorrow no one can stop her from getting what she wants.
