The episode of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 starts with Anant running towards the river to save Gehna.
Near the river, Gehna prays to God to protect Praful and his family. Gehna is seen about to jump when Anant holds her hand and stops her. Anant asks Gehna if she does not think about Baa and Bapuji. Gehna says that she doesn’t want to live.
Anant says that Baa and Bapuji want to see her. Gehna says that she doesn’t want to show her face to Baa and Bapuji as it might hurt them.
Gehna cries and says that her luck is very bad, and due to that, her Baa and Bapuji had to suffer. Anant says that it was his mistake that he did not check the boy’s background.
Sapan comes there and explains Gehna that Bapuji is all right and was taking Gehna’s name all the time. Anant then asks Gehna to come home.
Meanwhile, Kanak says that Gehna must have jumped in the river and died. Hema gets happy. Gehna comes home with Anant and Sapna. Anant says that Gehna did not decide to commit suicide on her own, but someone forced her to go that away.
Kanak worries and says that everyone was worried about her and should have not taken such a step. Pandit comes and says that the mahurat is getting over. He asks if marriage is happening or not. Kanak says that who will marry Gehna as her groom left her on her marriage day.
Anant says that he will marry Gehna. Jamna says that Anant made his decision and now she will make her decision. Jamna says that she will never accept Gehna as her daughter-in-law.
