Gehna is inspecting the work for Durga pooja. She gets a call from Anant and he offers his help but she says she would manage it all. Sagar who has been spying on her thinks of a plan to get rid of her phone to take revenge on her.
Sagar fools the decorator and gives him and his team alcohol. They are all out. He takes this as an opportunity to switch off the lights of the pandal. Gehna comes in concerned for the light. Sagar asks her to check the fuse and lights a fire to the pandal and leaves. Gehna trying to figure out how to switch on the lights notices the fire and tries to put it off with her bare hands. She also tries to put it off by water but in vain.
Sagar informs Kanak that he’s completed his job. He shows her a live video of Gehna struggling to put the fire off and that she could possibly burn in the fire too. Kanak and Hema get happy and inform the family that the pandal has caught fire. She also tells Baa that she should not have given Gehna the responsibility of Durga pooja.
Meanwhile, Anant in his room talking to Radhika says he feels something is off and runs away. Radhika follows him and so does everyone else. Gehna’s saree pallu catches fire which she does not notice as she is trying to set the fire off. Anant reaches the location with his family and watches Gehna and the family watches it.
