The episode of Sasural Simar Ka 2 starts with pandit Ji telling that the marriage date is 5th June. Badi Maa and Sandhya agree to fix this date. Everyone gets happy and feeds each other sweets. Roma tells Indu about the marriage date and tells them to make arrangements. Reema tells Simar 2 that her marriage date is fixed and asks her to help in choosing invitation cards. Later the sample of invitation card from Oswal house is delivered. Reema receives the card along with a letter. She opens the letter and reads that she has been selected for Ms India Pageant and gets happy. She sees the date and it is the same as a wedding. Aarav comes to Vivaan and shows him the sample of the invitation card. Vivaan sees Aarav’s and Reema’s name and thinks of her, he says that it is nice. Vivaan tells Aarav that he will take him shopping as he wants him to look the best at the wedding.
Chitra asks Badi Maa if they should talk to Gupta Ji about Vivaan’s alliance. Badi Maa agrees but tells her to be careful. Raj asks Gupta Ji when to fix the date. Gupta Ji tells him to make Vivaan the best first. Raj says he will do it after the marriage date. Gupta Ji says then Vivaan and Kajal’s marriage will happen the next day. Badi Maa shows the wedding card. Simar and Sandhya like it. Baa tells Bhairav to get it published. Sandhya says the girl’s family must have chosen a nice design. Chitra says not nice as them. Reema looks at the letter and wonders she never filled the form. She gets a call from Devesh, he asks if she liked the surprise. He says that he knows she has the fire to win. Reema says that she is not interested. He tells her that this is her dream she is not born to be a bahu but a beauty queen. Reema tells him to stop. Simar 2 comes so she hides the letter. Simar 2 asks if she is okay, She says she is just excited after seeing the cards. Simar 2 tells her to save the excitement to select the cards.
Simar, Gagan, Avinash and Indu select the card while Reema thinks about Devesh’s words. She tells them that she will be back. She goes and reads the letter again. She imagines herself winning the crown and walking the ramp. She recalls Devesh saying that she is not meant to be someone’s bahu. Simar 2 tells her to get ready as they have to go to the temple. Aarav, Badi Maa, Simar and others do the aarti of the Bappa and pray in the temple. Simar gives the first invitation card to Bappa. Pandit Ji tells Simar to bring coconut. Devesh comes, Chitra asks him if Reema agreed. He says no, she gives him more money and tells him to make sure Reema agrees. He says he doesn’t want the money as he has a personal grudge against Reema.
Aarav sees Simar 2 and Reema coming. Aarav admires Reema. She covers her head with pallu. Vivaan stands on the balcony and looks at the invitation card with teary eyes. Reema comes near Aarav, they look at each other and smile. Simar comes, Reema touches her feet. Simar blesses her and looks at Simar 2. Aarav messages Vivaan asking where he is as they are starting the rasam to invite Ganapati.
