Popatlal calls everyone and instructed them to wear yellow and to come along with him to meet Pratiksha
and her family. Popatlal first calls Jethalal and tells him everything and insists he come along with him. Jethalal agrees to wear yellow and come. Jethalal also tells Popatlal that they will take Bapuji along with him so that Bapuji can talk properly. Popatlal tells them to be ready by 8:30 in the evening. Jethalal says that he will wear a yellow shirt and come. Popatlal then rushes to Chachaji to give him the good news. Chachaji was about to drink water and Popatlal screamed. Chachaji gets scared and water spills from Chachaji’s hand. Then Popatlal gives Chachaji every detail and invites him to volume along with him. Popatlal requests Chachaji to be ready by 8:30 and wear yellow and come. Chachaji jokes with Popatlal and tells him that he will be ready.
Chachaji tells Popatlal about an incident at his wedding. Chachaji tells Popatlal that when he went to meet his ex-wife he wore everything in red colour as she used to like the red colour so much. Popatlal tells Chachaji to talk about everything. Popatlal comes into the compound and sees Roshan and Sodhi and they all start dancing Sodhi pushes Popatlal and Popatlal smashes Dr Hathi, then Anjali and Babita join the conversation and Popatlal tells everyone to be ready and come along with him and to compulsory wear yellow as a dress code. Everyone is excited and promises Popatlal to be present on time. Popatlal tells Babita and Anjali to call Taarak and Iyer and inform them of everything. But Taarak is out of town with his boss so he won’t join. Popatlal is restless and curious as he wants to meet Pratiksha and her family.
Then Popatlal goes to Bhide’s house and tells Bhide and Madhavi that Pratiksha’s father called him and they all are going to meet her family and wear yellow as a dress code. Bhide and Madhavi ask why they should wear yellow and Popatlal says that yellow is Pratiksha’s favourite colour. Madhavi is all excited and promises Popatlal that they will be on time. Bhide is still negative as the marriage is not decided yet.
