The episode starts with all gents discussing Popatlal and Pratiksha’s Shagun ceremony and then Sodhi tells that he is sad about one thing that now they cannot do party-sharty at Popatlal’s house as he is no longer single. Everyone tells him to talk softly and Madhavi comes out of Anjali’s house. All of them become scared as they think that Madhavi heard everything. Then Madhavi calls out Bhide and tells him to bring sweets. Everyone is relieved as Madhavi did not hear their conversation. Then Tapu Sena is in the garden and Goli exclaims that wedding procedures are so long as the boy and girl meet, then they express their likes and dislikes, then their families meet, then they exchange shagun and then they get married. This is such a long procedure. Then Sonu tells him that a wedding is an important decision in life and they need to think and take it wisely.
Then they all decide to go to Popatlal’s house and ask him if he needs help. Then at Popatlal’s house, Popatlal is working on a laptop and informs Tapu Sena that he does not want any help and tells them to go and get ready. Bhide comes home and Madhavi tells him to give her the sweets, Bhide tells her that he has given the sweets to Anjali Bhabhi on the way and sits on the couch. Then Madhavi tells him to hurry up as they need to get ready. Bhide tells her he will get ready quickly as he just needs to iron his kurta and wear it. Madhavi pulls him and tells him to iron his kurta. As he starts ironing Madhavi brings her saree and gives him to iron. Then Sodhi also brings his kurta and requests Bhide to iron it. Bhide denies it at first but later on, he does it. Jethalal asks Chachaji what he should wear today.
Chachaji tells him to wear a nice shirt. But he tells Chachaji that he wishes to wear a kurta but none of the kurtas is ironed so he decides to wear a shirt. Then similarly all Gokuldham vasi are discussing what to wear and then all get ready and come into the compound with the Shagun items. Then Popatlal takes Chachaji to the temple for praying and the other members of the society congratulate Popatlal. Then everyone is ready, only the Sodhi family is not there. Then they arrive, but Sodhi informs them that the bus is late, Popatlal gets panicked and tells everyone to go in a rickshaw as they should not get late, but then the bus arrives and they all get on the bus and Bhide breaks the coconut and they all leave.
