Jethalal speaks with Sundarlal on the phone and tells him to come to Mumbai the day after tomorrow by early morning flight. Then Sundarlal promises to come, and Jethalal tells them he will book tickets and arrange everything. But then Sundar denies him and tells him that this time he will arrange everything. Jethalal is so happy to hear this and tells them to come on time. After their phone conversation, Sundar is tense as to how he shall take Daya to Mumbai. Then his friend suggested that he tell Jethalal the truth. Then Sundarlal decides that he will think about an idea and take good care that Jethalal should not become sad and also the shop’s inauguration be done on time. Then next morning in the society, Bhide is heading towards the noticeboard to write suvichar, he meets Abdul. Then they both see a car coming into the compound and they both wonder whose car it is.
Then a gentleman comes out of the car. Bhide and Abdul walk toward him and ask him whom he wants to meet. Then he says that he wants to meet Popatlal. Abdul asks him whether he is here with a wedding proposal for Popatlal? and tells him that Popatlal is a good person. Then the man tells Abdul that he knows Popatlal very well and he is his friend. Then Abdul is about to take the man to Popatlal’s house. Then Popatlal comes out of the C wing and Abdul calls him. Popatlal sees Nilesh bhai and is happy and asks him how he is here today. Then Bhide and Chachaji join the conversation. Then Popatlal introduces Nilesh bhai to them as Mr Nilesh is the editor of Mumbai Samachar and he is here to invite everyone for a ceremony on behalf of Mumbai Samachar’s 200th year of publication.
Then Bhide writes on the noticeboard about welcoming Daya bhabhi. Jethalal comes down the staircase and greets Bhide. Then Bhide tells him to read the suvichar. Jethalal becomes happy and excited after reading the suvichar. Bhide tells Jethalal to always be happy and to pay maintenance checks on time. Sundar calls Jethalal and tells him that there is a small problem. Jethalal tells him to say anything but don’t tell me that Daya is not coming to Mumbai. Sundar tells Jethalal that everything is fine but the luggage is a little extra so they can come by taxi rather than plane.
