In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the lead character, Jethalal rushes towards the car to see Daya but Sundar stops him and tells him to stand aside, as Daya will come out for him. Then Sundar claps and calls to call Daya out. Then all are keeping their eyes on the car’s door. And Bhaylu comes out, Jethalal gets irritated as he wants to see Daya and then all are looking towards the door and then Sundarlal’s one more friend comes out. Then Jethalal shouts at Sundarlal to please call Daya out. Then Sundar tells Jethalal that Daya bhabhi will come out of the car once Bapuji is back from the Temple. Then Jethalal’s father in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Bapuji will not come home as he will directly go to the shop from the temple.
Then Jethalal goes towards the car, but Sundar stops him again and tells him that she will come out but he has told her not to come as she came to Mumbai after so long so she should give grand welcome. Then Jethalal shouts at Sundarlal and tells him to call her out fast otherwise he will not leave him. Then Sundar who is Jethalal’s brother-in-law in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, tells Jethalal to turn around so he will be more excited to see Daya. Jethalal denies but Iyer insists he doing so. Then Sundar tells everyone in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma to turn around. Everyone turns around and when Sundar tells them they turn around to see Daya. But to everyone’s shock Sundarlal brought Dayna’s cut-out as Daya and the real Daya of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is not here. Jethalal becomes sad and takes the cricket stump to beat Sundarlal.
He runs here and there and Sundarlal tells him that Daya has sent him a letter to please read it. As Daya was all ready to come here but she has mentioned the reason for not coming here in the letter. Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jethalal reads the letter and instead of a letter, it was a grocery list. Then Jethalal is annoyed and asks Sundarlal what is this. Then lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Sundar tells Bhaylu to take the letter back from Jethalal and he sees that the letter is exchanged and then he again gives the correct letter to Jethalal. He reads the letter and in that letter, Daya wrote that she was ready to come here but her mother informed her that it is unlucky for her to go to Mumbai. So she won’t be coming for the inauguration ceremony.
