Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s episode starts with Jethalal calling one of his bank friends to check the availability of a bank locker so that Popatlal can keep his gold safely. The bank manager informs Jethalal that he will check availability and let him know. Jethalal calls Popatlal to inform him but his phone was busy. Then at night, Jethalal tells Bapuji that he is going to Abdul’s soda shop. Bapuji complains that there is the same news repeated on the TV. Then Bapuji goes to sleep. Then Jethalal comes into the society compound and greets the ladies. Tapu Sena is playing badminton and Goli hits the shuttlecock on Jethalal. Goli apologizes to Jethalal. Then Jethalal asks the ladies where Babitaji is and they answer that she will join them soon.
Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jethalal departs from there and meets Babitaji and greets her, while they are talking Goli’s shot again hits Jethalal. Goli apologizes again and Jethalal goes to the soda shop with Sodhi from there. At the soda shop, Dr Hathi asks Bhide and Iyer where are other members. Bhide replies that they must be coming in a while, and then Sodhi and Jethalal join them. Then Bhide says that only Mehta Saab and Popatlal are left. Jethalal says that Mehta Saab won’t join them as Mehta Saab’s manager is sending him to different cities for meetings. Then Bhide asks where Popatlal is and Jethalal calls Popatlal.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Popatlal picks up the call thinking that Jethalal must have called to inform him about locker availability. Jethalal tells him to join them at the soda shop but he denies it as he has gold jewellery at home and he is tense about it. Then Jethalal asks why he is not coming, and Popatlal refuses to answer. Then Jethalal tells Popatlal that if he didn’t join them at the soda shop then they all will come to his house along with Abdul and enjoy soda there. Popatlal understands that Jethalal is stubborn and he won’t listen to him so he agrees to go to the soda shop.
