In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode, Jethalal apologizes to Babitaji for breaking her jhumka and requests Iyer to come along with him to the shop from where Babita brought the jhumka. Babita tells Jethalal to not feel guilty and they go home. Then Jethalal comes home and Bapuji is about to leave for a temple visit. Bapuji tells Jethalal that he is being careless very often now. Jethalal asks what happened? Bapuji replies that he left the door open when he went down to search for the jhumka. Jethalal then sends off Bapuji and later receives a call from a courier boy about his courier. Jethalal then waits for the courier person and realises that he has Popatlal’s gold with him.
Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jethalal decides to keep the gold in the bank locker. Then the courier boy comes and gives the parcel to Jethalal and asks for a glass of water. Jethalal goes into the kitchen to bring water. Meanwhile, the courier boy notices the gold box. Then Bagha calls Jethalal and tells him that today the bank’s staff are on strike so their checks cannot be cleared. Then Jethalal decides to keep Popatlal’s gold with Babita and Iyer. He puts a jewellery box in a bag and covers it with Ahmedabad’s snacks and leaves. In the compound he sees Goli and Goli smells snacks and tells Jethalal to show the bag. Jethalal denies doing so, to which Goli tries to snatch the bag. Then Jethalal explains everything to him and promises him that he will give him a pizza party on Sunday.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Jethalal tells one rickshaw driver to wait down as he will come in 2 minutes. He goes to Babita’s house and explains to Babita everything and tells her to take care of the gold, as he is going to the shop and Bapuji has gone to the temple. Babita asks Jethalal when will Popatlal return from Nashik. Jethalal assures Babita that whenever Popatlal might come, he will come in the evening from the shop and take the gold box with him. Babita agrees and takes responsibility.
