In today’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah episode as Jethalal goes to America, Bhide calls everyone to the Club house to discuss who will look after Chachaji.
Then Bhide tells Popatlal that he can look after Chachaji as he is single and free. Popatlal lashes on Bhide and tells him that he is not free at all. He has so much work to do in the office. Iyer says to Popatlal that he is just a normal reporter. Popatlal tells Iyer that reporting is not easy and if he thinks so, he should come once with him to do the work. Then Bhide tries to convince Popatlal but he refuses to do so. Popatlal tells Bhide to look after Chachaji. Bhide says that he alone cannot manage everything. Then Iyer suggests that they should hire a caretaker and pay him from the society fund. Bhide rejects the plan as Ganesh Chaturti is near and there are a lot of expenses, so they cannot use society funds.
Then in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Sodhi suggests that they will divide the expense but Popatlal refuses to pay as he doubts how the caretaker would be. Then Anjali suggests that they should distribute among themselves and take care of Bapuji. Madhavi tells Bhide is trying to suggest the same thing. Then Anjali says that she will prepare the dinner for Chachaji. Hathi will look after Chachaji’s health and check them regularly. Popatlal and Bhide take the responsibility of taking Chachaji out if he wants to go anywhere. Sodhi and others also claim their support. Then Anjali says that she will prepare Khichdi and send Chachaji. Then everyone goes home and Bhide goes to Jethalal’s house to check Chachaji. Bhide is shocked to see Chachaji on the floor and he thinks that Chachaji might have fallen down. Then he bends to pick up Chachaji.
Lastly in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Chachaji screams and tells that he has not fallen, he was looking for his phone which went under the sofa. Then Bhide asks Chachaji as to how he is. Then Chachaji tells Bhide to be tension free. Then Anjal comes and brings dinner for Chachaji and is about to serve but Chachaji thanks her and tells her that he will have later. Then Anjali goes and after some time Bagha and Natu Kaka come with their luggage to stay with Chachaji. Then Bhide gets relaxed as they both are there to take care of Chachaji. Then Bhide goes and Bagha serves food to Chachaji. He takes the first bite and says that it is tasteless as Anjali has sent diet Khichdi which has no salt. Then Bagha and Natu Kaka take the Khichdi in the kitchen and give tadka to it and then Bagha adds salt to it and then he receives a call from Baveri and then Natu Kaka also adds salt. Later when Chachaji eats it, he feels too much salt.
