The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Bhide saying that he has decided that there will be no New Year party in Gokuldham society.
Tapu then asks Jethalal what he thinks, if they should have a New Year party or not. Jethalal says that in this matter he supports Bhide and doesn’t want to celebrate New Year party.
Tapu-Sena asks why they are against the party. Jethalal explains that corona is not over yet and then have to take care of their health. Bhide says that they will not celebrate New Year party and this is his final decision.
Tapu-Sena then gets upset and goes away. Jethalal then asks Bhide not to change his decision no matter what.
Bhide then goes home and asks Madhavi to get breakfast. Tapu-Sena comes to Bhide and pleads in front of him to permit New Year party.
Madhavi says that she also wants a New Year party. Madhavi asks Bhide to take permission from everyone and then make a decision.
Bhide asks Abdul to inform everyone about the meeting.
Later at night, Jethalal is watching TV. At 8:30 he tells Bapuji that he is going for society meeting.
Jethalal comes in the clubhouse for the meeting and sees that Bhide has not yet come. Jethalal thinks of scolding Bhide as he is late for the meeting.
Jethalal then goes to Taarak, Sodhi and Dr Hati and says that he doesn’t want New Year party and asks them if they want to celebrate New Year.
All the gents say that they don’t want to celebrate New Year.
