The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Taarak and Jethalal telling that Bapuji should not take the responsibility of New Year party alone. Taarak asks Bapuji to share his party idea with Jethalal so that he can help Bapuji.
Bapuji then says that in the village he has arranged lots of parties, and in every party, they used to have 500-1000 people. He always managed to arrange the party alone.
Jethalal then asks Bapuji to share the party idea. Bapuji says that the party idea is secret and he will not tell it to anyone.
Jethalal then thinks that Tapu can find out the party idea from Bapuji as he is Bapuji’s favourite. Jethalal then goes to Tapu and asks him to find out about Bapuji’s surprise party.
Jethalal says that if Tapu finds out about the party then he will gift Tapu a new phone.
Tapu then goes to Bapuji and tries to ask him about the surprise party. Tapu also fails to find out about the party.
Bapuji then goes to Bhide’s house to discuss the party’s budget. Bapuji then comes to Bhide and greets him.
Bapuji says that he had come there to talk about party budget.
Bhide also tries to find out about the surprise party but fails.
Bhide then tells Bapuji that the party’s budget is 40-45 thousand. Bapuji then says this year he will need more 10 thousand. Bhide then says that he will send money with Abdul.
Later, Jethalal tells everyone that he did not find anything about Bapuji’s party.
Jethalal then gets an idea. He says that they can call Bapuji from some event management company and can find out about Bapuji’s party idea.
