The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Madhavi giving a cheque to Bhide and saying that he has to give this cheque to the grocery shop.
Bhide says that he is going to wish Popatlal as he got the award. Bhide will congratulate Popatlal by writing a wish from all society members on the society board.
Sodhi sees Bhide writing a quote on society board and thinks to do some prank. Sodhi hides behind a pole. Popatlal arrives there and greets Bhide good morning. Sodhi signs Popatlal to stay quiet and don’t tell Bhide about Sodhi.
Bhide congratulates Popatlal for his new award and asks him to read the notice board. Sodhi changes some words from the notice board when Bhide was talking to Popatlal.
Popatlal reads the quote and finds some mistakes in it. Popatlal says that Bhide being a teacher, is doing mistakes. Popatlal asks Bhide to consult a doctor.
Abdul comes there and greets Popatlal, Bhide and Sodhi. Bhide says that Sodhi is not here.
Abdul says Sodhi is behind the pole. Bhide learns that Sodhi and Popatlal pulled a prank on him.
Later, Bapuji is talking to his friend. He asks Jethalal to get paper and pen as he wants to write a number. Jethalal can’t find a plain paper, so he gets a table drawer.
After the call, Bapuji asks Jethalal to clean the drawer and throw all the unnecessary papers. Jethalal sorts out all the unnecessary document and keeps it on the tables.
Taarak comes to meet Jethalal followed by Iyer. Jethalal makes tea and serves them. Iyer refuses to take the tea, but Jethalal insists. Iyer refuses Jethalal again and mistakenly drops the tea on the unnecessary documents which he sorted out.
Jethalal signals Taarak and says that Iyer caused him a loss of Rs 5 lakh. Iyer gets shocked.
