The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with everyone suggesting to Bapuji what they can do in the village.
Anjali asks Bapuji to do organic farming and send some bitter melon to her.
Taarak says Bapuji doesn’t have to do any farming, also doesn’t have to go to the village. Taarak says Jethalal can do some other work.
Taarak says if Jethalal will go to his village, then he would feel a part of his life has gone away from him. (Jethalal and Taarak’s friendship moments are shown).
Bhide says if Jethalal will leave them, then who will argue with him. (Few recaps of Jethalal arguing with Bhide are shown).
Iyer says who will create drama if Jethalal is gone. Popatlal says if Bapuji will go, then who will scold them as a parent. Sodhi says who will scold them when they will do any mistake. (A flashback of Bapuji guiding everyone is shown).
Jethalal says he is in need, so they have to go. Bapuji says they will go into the village and find a life partner for Popatlal. Popatlal says if they find anyone then he will also come to Jethalal’s village and settle there.
Everyone leaves saying they will miss Jethalal and their family. Taarak asks Jethalal to be strong.
Everyone gathers in the society compound and prays that Jethalal should not go to the village and stay with them.
Jethalal calls Bagha and says that he has made his decision and wants to sell his shop. Jethalal says he will sell the shop and go to the village.
Jethalal asks Bagha to put a poster of ‘shop on sell’ on his shop.
The next day, Bagha puts the shop on-sell poster outside their shop and informs Jethalal. Jethalal says he is selling his shop and now have to talk about his house.
Jethalal calls Bhide and Taarak, he asks them to meet at Jethalal’s house in the evening.
