The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Bhide telling Popatlal that he is worried about his students. Popatlal says students will enjoy and then will start their studies when the exam is near. Bhide says due to online classes, he has to face a lot of problems. Bhide drops Popatlal at the marriage bureau and goes to deliver the pickle.
Popatlal goes to the marriage bureau to renew his membership. Geeta (marriage bureau receptionist) greets Popatlal and gives him a form to fill. Geeta informs Popatlal that he has to pay Rs 200 more on his annual membership for SMS alert. Popatlal says he will not pay any extra money. Bhide comes there and asks Popatlal to hurry up. Madhavi calls Bhide and asks him to get tea powder while coming. Bhide agrees and disconnects the call and keeps his phone at the marriage bureau table.
Popatlal argues with Geeta. Bhide explains Popatlal that if he won’t pay the extra money, then the marriage bureau will keep Popatlal as the last option to send the alliance. Popatlal agrees to pay the extra charges.
Bhide and Popatlal return home. Abdul comes to Bhide with the electrician. Bhide asks the electrician to change the light from their garden which is not working and check all the other lights. The electrician changes Bhide Rs 1000. Bhide agrees. Popatlal says Bhide should have bargained, as Rs 1000 is too much. Bhide says he knows the electrician and his charges are always minimal.
Bhide checks his pocket and can’t find his phone. Popatlal gives a call on Bhide’s phone. Geeta answers the call. Popatlal says his friend forgot his phone in the marriage bureau and will come to pick it in some time. Bhide asks Popatlal to go, as he is already late for his online class. Bhide leaves. Popatlal takes Bhide’s scooter and leaves.
Later, Popatlal gets Bhide’s phone from the marriage bureau and gives it to Bhide. Bhide starts his online class and waits for his students to join the class. All his students join the class late and Ishant’s parents send an SMS to Bhide, saying that they are going out and Ishant cannot join the class. Bhide asks his other students if they have done their revision for the test. All the students say yes.
Bhide asks them the formulas and nobody answers. Bhide realises that Het is playing the game on his phone, during his online class. Bhide scolds Het. Rohan asks Bhide not to worry about their studies. Bhide says he is the one who teaches them, so he will always be worried. Rohan says they get all the answers on Google. Bhide says there is no point in teaching his students, they will never listen to him. Bhide says he needs to take strict action against the problem. Bhide asks his students to inform their parents that there will be a parent meeting at 8:30 pm.
