The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Bapuji hoping Popatlal and Bharti are fine. Popatlal and Bharti come down through a slide and calls out Jethalal and Bapuji. They start dancing in the pool. Inspector and Jethalal think about why they are dancing. Jethalal comes near Popatlal and says they were worried about Popatlal and he is dancing. Popatlal says they have survived from a big peril. Inspector asks wrong happened to them.
Popatlal says Madanlal tied him and Bharti into the water park and asked his man to kill them at 6 pm by passing an electric current into the pool. Jethalal worries and asked how he survived the situation. Popatlal says Arman is scared of ghosts, so they tried to scare him more. Popatlal says that he told Arman that after he kills them they will become ghosts and haunt him. Arman gets scared. Popatlal says he asked Arman to free them and rin away, as they don’t have any proof against him.
Popatlal says he is happy that Jethalal called Inspector Chalu Pandey. Jethalal says Rishi called the Inspector as he thought Jethalal is the smuggler. Popatlal says he is happy that Inspector Chalu Pandey caught them. Chalu Pandey says that they were busy finding Popatlal and did not find the smugglers.
Popatlal worries and says they have to catch the smugglers as he might escape from the country. Popatlal says the smugglers meeting got over by 6 and must have just left the hotel and they can still catch him. Popatlal asks Chalu Pandey to block the road and check every person. Inspector Chalu Pandey calls the police force and asks them to block the road and send every person’s pic to him so that Popatlal can identify him.
The police force blocks the roads and sends pics to Inspector. Inspector asks Popatlal to identify them. The police send Madanlal’s pic. Popatlal identifies Madanlal and says he is a smuggler. Inspector asks the police force to grab Madanlal and get him to the RangTarang hotel. Bapuji tells Chalu Pandey that they will change their disguise until Madanlal arrives. He asks Popatlal and Bharti to get changed as they are wet.
Madanlal arrives at the hotel. Inspector interrogates Madanlal. Madanlal refuses and says he is not a smuggler. Madanlal says the police is disturbing a simple businessman and accusing him of the wrong thing. Jethalal comes and says Madanlal what he is doing there. Inspector says he is the smuggler, Madanlal. Jethalal says he is Jaswant and is his friend. Jethalal says Inspector caught the wrong person.
Popatlal comes there and tells Jethalal that Jaswant and Madanlal are the same people. Madanlal thinks how Popatlal and Bharti are alive when he asked Arman to kill them. Madanlal asks if they have any proof that he is the smuggler.
