The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Taarak coming home and thinking about what he will tell Anjali. Anjali comes out and asks Taarak how he is in the house so early. Taarak says he is about to ring the bell, but Anjali opens the door at the same time and asks how she came to know that he has come. Anjali says was going to Komal’s house as she wants to teach her the Mexican Salad recipe. Taarak asks Anjali to go. He then goes into the house and gets relaxed. Anjali comes back and asks Taarak how he got home so early. Taarak says he wanted to surprise. Anjali says that in the morning Taarak mentioned that he has a lot of work in the office and now has come early. Taarak says if he comes late then Anjali questions him and even if he comes home early then Anjali questions him.
Anjali says she feels like something is wrong. She asks Taarak if he lied in the office and went out with his friends to eat food. Taarak worries and thinks about how Anjali can read his mind. Anjali asks Taarak what he is thinking. Taarak says he is telling the truth, yet Anjali feels as if she is lying then he will make up a story and then Anjali will believe him. Anjali says that she believes Taarak and asks him to wait while she will get tea for him. Anjali takes Taarak’s tiffin and goes into the kitchen. Taarak worries as he did not eat the tiffin. Taarak reminds Anjali that she is going to Komal’s house and asks her to go, while he will manage everything at home.
Later at the soda shop, Jethalal tells everyone about their matter. He says that Taarak got 2 days leave and he needs a strong reason to tell Anjali about it. Taarak comes and greets everyone. He asks Jethalal if he has any idea. Jethalal thinks and explains the plan to Taarak.
Taarak returns home and tells Anjali that she always complains that he doesn’t give her time, so he took 2 days leave from his office. Anjali gets happy and plans that early morning they will wake up and go for a run together, then they will do some exercise and will have a healthy salad too. Taarak thinks he got trapped by lying to Anjali.
