The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal greeting everyone Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Sodhi says they will pray to Lord Ganesh that Popatlal should get his life partner this year. Popatlal says they are going against Lord Ganesh’s order and Lord Ganesh might get upset with them. Taarak says they have already decided and should not get that topic again or there will be confusion. Bapuji says Bhide got the dream and Bhide decided that they will go to take Lord Ganesh, so there is no point discussing. Jethalal says Bhide has not yet arrived.
All the gents call out Bhide. Sonu comes into the gallery and says that they are coming in 2 minutes. Bapuji asks Komal if all the preparations are done. Komal says they did all preparations. Taarak compliments all the ladies. Bhide comes down with Sonu and Madhavi. Sodhi says they can go to take Lord Ganesh. Bapuji sees that Bhide is worried and asks him what happened. Madhavi says Bhide couldn’t sleep all night as he is still confused to go to take Lord Ganesh or not.
Jethalal lies that Lord Ganesh came into his dream and told him that they all should come to take him. Madhavi gets happy. Bhide asks Jethalal to swear in Bapuji. Jethalal says he doesn’t believe in the promise. Bhide says that Jethalal is lying. Madhavi asks Jethalal why he lied. Jethalal says he wanted Bhide to stay happy and go to take Lord Ganesh so he lied.
Bhide says they will go to take Lord Ganesh. Sodhi asks the band to play their band. Gokuldham members start dancing and all the drums tear. Bhide worries. Jethalal asks Sodhi to get his drum. Sodhi says his cousin took his drum. Jethalal says they can use a spoon and plates as they can enjoy and go.
Suddenly it starts raining. Gokuldham members take shelter inside the pandal. Bhide says Lord Ganesh doesn’t want them to come to take him. Iyer says this is just a coincidence. Bapuji says they will go to take Lord Ganesh and asks Tapu-Sena to get umbrellas. Due to the breeze the umbrella flies. Bapuji says he thinks Lord Ganesh doesn’t want them to come to take him.
Bhide says they should stay and pray. Everyone starts praying. Someone gets Lord Ganesh into Gokuldham society. Everyone gets happy.
