The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Bhide asking everyone to come into the society compound and try to stop the thief. The man keeps going round and round in the society compound. Bhide runs behind the scooter. All the society members gather and manage to stop the man. They start beating that man. He asks everyone to stop and says he is not the thief. Bhide says all the thief says such when they get caught. He tries to explain but Bhide says now the police will interrogate him. Tapu-Sena comes there and asks what happened. Dr Hati says the man was trying to steal Sakharam. Tapu-Sena goes down to hit the man.
Bhide asks the man who he is and for whom he is working. The man gets a call. Bhide snatches the phone and says the boss must have called him to ask if he succeeded in stealing the scooter or not. Bhide answers the call and asks if he got the scooter. Bhide says he was about to steal the scooter but they caught him and soon their boss will also get caught. Sodhi asks Bhide what he is doing over the call. Bhide gets confused to hear Sodhi’s voice and asks what is going on.
Sodhi says he had sent his friend Mannu to take the bike. He says Mannu is a mechanic and will repair the bike. Popatlal misunderstands the situation and thinks that Sodhi was trying to kidnap Sakharam. Popatlal scolds Sodhi. Sodhi asks Bhide to keep the phone on speaker and clear out the misunderstanding. He tells everyone that Sakharam was not getting started so Bhide asked him to repair it and he has sent a mechanic.
Madhavi asks Mannu why he was taking rounds of the society. Mannu says they all were attacking him and did not give him any chance. Mannu says he tried to tell them that he is the thief but they did not let him speak. Bhide apologises to Mannu as they misunderstood the situation and started beating him. Mannu forgives them and says he will take the scooter to his shop and then repair it. Bhide agrees. Madhavi then apologises to all the society members as they had to take the trouble.
Later, Tapu-Sena tells all the matter to Bapuji. Bapuji feels bad for Mannu. He then tells Tapu that he is going to a friend’s house. Popatlal comes there and asks Tapu to give all the pics of the role which the Gokuldham members played at the Ganesh Utsav function. Tapu asks him why he needs the pics. Popatlal says he wants to write an article on it.
