The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Champak Chacha eating for Jethalal to come home. Champak is worried as it’s midnight already and Jethalal is not home, so he calls Tapu and asks him to call Jethalal. By the time tapu tries to call Jethalal Jethalal arrives home. Champak Chacha scolds Jethalal as it took so much time for Jethalal to come home to which Jethalal replies that Taarak and Iyer were in trouble and tells him the story . Champak tells Jethalal that he did a good thing by sticking to his friends in tough times.
In the morning at Bhide’s house Madhvi and Sonu are busy doing Diwali’s cleanliness. Madhvi asks Bhide what he is doing with the newspaper to which he replies that he is cutting good articles from the newspapers. Madhvi asks him to help her in cleaning. Sonu comes with a box of colours and asks Bhide to open it. Bhide is not able to open the box and he applies a lot more force to the box and the box gets break and the colours fall on the floor as well as on him. Meanwhile, Tapu Sena comes to Bhide’s house to call Sonu . Tapu Cena sees Bhide all covered up with colours and thinks that he is playing holi in Diwali and laughs at him.
Later on Madhvi asks Bhide to give money for Diwali’s shopping. Bhide gives money to Madhvi, asks her to shop from the local stores and gives her 3 reasons explaining why to shop from the streets. Bhide tells Madhvi that she will get a lot more choices in local stores than in the mall and things will be way cheaper at the local stores. The most important reason to shop from the local stores is the poor people handling the local stores will get some money as well. Madhvi agrees to Bhide’s conditions and calls the Mahila Mandal and tells them about Bhide’s suggestion.
