The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Pushpa telling Popatlal that they saw him in KBC and also saw the umbrella he gave to Amitabh Bachchan. Pushpa tells Popatlal that her daughter’s fiance loves umbrellas and he wanted an umbrella theme decoration for their wedding so they wanted to ask Popatlal about the Umbrella he gave Amitabh Bachchan on KBC. Popatlal gets shocked and feels sad. Bhide tells Pushpa and her family that the way they were inquiring about Popatlal they thought they were here to ask Popatlal for marriage.
Popatlal tells Bhide to ask Pushpa and her family to leave. Pushpa Alokh and Sneha leave Bhide’s house. Madhavi tells Bhide that he did a very bad thing by calling her father mental. Popatlal tells Madhavi that it was his mistake and not Bhide’s as after seeing Satish, Popatlal told Pushpa that he is Bhide’s father in law and that he is mentally not stable. Madhavi forgives Bhide and Popatlal and tells Popatlal that he need not have to worry as Gungun and her family are still waiting for him at Dr Hathi’s house. Popatlal, Bhide and Madhavi go to Dr Hathi’s house.
Popatlal tells Gungun that he is ready to marry her. Gungun and her family get shocked and tell Popatlal that they have come to see him and make him Gungun’s brother as he has become famous after being on KBC. Popatlal gets shocked and leaves Dr Hathi’s house. Gungun stops Popatlal and tells him that her intentions were not to hurt him and that she didn’t know he would think otherwise. Popatlal understands Gungun and agrees on being her brother.
