The episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah starts with Popatlal asking Sodhi about where he found the sherwani to which Sodhi replies that a customer who wasn’t paying the bill of his taxi gave him this sherwani. Sodhi and Roshan leave and Popatlal gets a call from Nisha. Nisha tells Popatlal that the girl who asked on meeting him has cancelled the date as she fell in love with her neighbour. Popatlal thinks that due to the sherwani coming back home he got rejected again.
Popatlal calls Anjana Ji and tells her everything that happened to which she says that he should throw the sherwani somewhere out so that it doesn’t come back. Popatlal takes the sherwani and throws it out of the balcony and it falls on Bhide while he is driving a scooter. Bhide loses his control over the scooter and hits Chacha Ji. Chacha Ji lashes out on Bhide. Bhide tells Chacha Ji that it wasn’t his mistake as the sherwani fell on him from the C wing and he lost his control over the scooter. Bhide and Chacha Ji think that the person who threw the sherwani might be Popatlal as he wanted to take revenge on Bhide. Bhide and Chacha Ji start calling out Popatlal’s name but he doesn’t respond.
Bhide calls Popatlal and Popatlal tells Bhide that he is not home but in the office busy working. Popatlal suggests Bhide throw the sherwani somewhere far away so that it doesn’t come back. Later on, Anjana Ji calls Popatlal and tells him that there is nothing wrong with the sherwani as her yantra wasn’t working so she got it wrong about the Sherwani thingy. Popatlal worries and goes down and tries to stop Bhide. Bhide questions popatlal as he told him that he was busy working in the office so how come he came down from his apartment. Popatlal tells Bhide that he said that he was doing office work at home and that it’s not important. Popatlal tells Bhide that the sherwani is really nice and that he wants it. Bhide refuses to give the sherwani. Popatlal chases after Bhide and while doing that he lies down on the ground so that Bhide doesn’t leave the society.
