Today’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 16 May episode begins with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) making an excuse for her family to meet Sahil. Mihika asks her to come soon. Sahil’s goons inform Sahil that Ishita has left from her home. Rohan gets down from his cab. Sahil’s goon follows him. Ishita enters Sahil’s house. Sahil comes to know from one of his goons that Mani’s bag doesn’t contain the evidence against him. Manish informs Sahil that Bala and Karan’s bag have also been replaced but didn’t get any evidence. Ishita hopes that Raman has reached the police station. Raman calls Bala and asks him to reach the police station.
Sahil understands that the actual bag that contains the evidence is with Raman. He asks Ishita where Raman is. Ishita tells him that she doesn’t know about Raman. Samsad shows the video to Ishita where Raman, Mani, Rohan and Karan are discussing something in the building compound. Sahil threatens her about Ruhi’s life. Mr Bhalla asks Shagun to call Raman and Mani. Shagun calls Ishita and Samsad put the call in speaker. Ishita asks her to continue the wedding ceremonies. Sahil asks Ishita to stop her drama and tell him where the actual bag is.
Sahil asks Samsad to call Rohan and put in speaker. Rohan stops his car and gets a call from Sahil. Sahil asks him to give the evidence he has against him. Rohan asks him not to threaten him. Sahil asks Rohan to wear the bag he’s carrying. Rohan wears it. Sahil informs him that his bag is exchanged in the cafe and the bag he’s carrying then contains explosive.
Rohan gets shocked. Ishita panics. Sahil informs Rohan that as he puts his bag on the ground, the bomb will blast. The timer of the bomb gets started. Sahil asks Rohan to tell Raman to hand over the evidence to him and he will defuse the time bomb. He asks Rohan to bring the evidence. Meanwhile, Raman stops his bike seeing Rohan talking to someone overcall. Sahil wants everyone to die together. Rohan disconnects Sahil’s call seeing Raman.
Panditji asks the family to call Aliya. Mrs. Bhalla worries where Raman and Ishita are. Shagun tries calling them. Aliya arrives at the mandap. Yug holds her hand and makes her sit. She asks Shagun if she talked to Ishita. Shagun doesn’t get her call. Ishita’s assistant, Ananya comes to Bhalla house to meet Ishita. Shagun and Simmi are astonished to see her alright as Ishita told them that Ananya’s hospitalized. Ananya tells them that she hasn’t met with an accident. Simmi thinks that Ishita’s in a problem and doubts if Sahil has trapped her. Ishita has been kept in gunpoint.
She requests Sahil to save Rohan’s life as he’s innocent. Sahil threatens her of ruining the lives of her family members. Ishita apologizes to Sahil and pleads him to defuse the bomb. Sahil thinks that if Rohan is sincere enough then he will inform Raman about the bomb and if he’s being a fool, then his life will be finished.
