Today’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 29 July episode begins with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) waking up while she was held captive by Arijit’s aide at some godown. She struggled to get free and ran away from there. She heard a person’s footsteps. She pretended to be asleep to know who her enemy was. Arijit visited her and injected her drugs once again. Yug stayed worried for Ishita. His nightmare made him panicking. Aaliya calmed him. Karan informed Yug that he had just received a message from Ishita and she was fine. Yug took a sigh of relief on knowing about Ishita.
Karan told Yug that he would keep him informed about Ishita. Aaliya asked Yug to sleep. Ishita didn’t see Arijit’s face. She tried to gain consciousness despite the effect of the drugs. She found a landline there. She called Ruhi to take help. Ruhi was sleeping and didn’t answer. Ishita called Yug and connected to him. Yug got a huge shock on hearing Ishita’s voice. Ishita asked for help. Yug realized that Ishita was in danger. Yug woke up Aaliya, Ruhi and Karan to tell them that Ishita had called for help; she had fallen in danger when she went to find Raman. Yug wanted to find Ishita by seeking the help of police. He wanted to track the phone location. Ruhi told Yug that it was too late now and they had to wait till morning.
Arijit summoned Karan and Ruhi at his home. He didn’t want them to doubt on him. Ruhi felt Arijit was behaving strange before. She doubted Arijit and asked Karan not to eat anything at Arijit’s place. Arijit discussed the new project with Karan. Ruhi told them that she would make coffee for them. Arijit stopped them and went to get coffee for them. Ruhi made excuses and avoided the coffee prepared by Arijit. She spilled Karan’s coffee as well to save him. Yug informed Karan that he had got Ishita’s location and he was going there to find her. He asked Karan and Ruhi to reach there. Ruhi got a big relief knowing Ishita was found finally.
Arijit overheard their conversation and concluded that someone had back stabbed him. He wanted to know if his aide joined hands with Bhallas. He didn’t understand how Ishita connected with her family all of a sudden. He spied on them further to know if they really found Ishita or making any plan to trap him. Arijit didn’t want anyone to reach Ishita. Karan and Ruhi rushed to the location to find Ishita. Arijit asked his aide if he had revealed about Ishita to anyone. He asked Ruhi to take him along to the office. Karan wanted to make an excuse to avoid him. Ruhi told Karan that they had to behave normal and trick Arijit. Yug got summoned at the office for the urgent work. Arijit reached Ishita before Yug and Karan. Ishita asked him who was he and why he was doing this with her. He concealed his identity with a mask.
